I come from a humble family who loves to cook - our inspiration is our grandma who is actually certified as an international cook back in the days when the British colonized Malaysia. She worked at many British homes as a cook and had learnt and shared her experiences with us. As a child, I use to dig into her old cookbooks and was always mesmerized by the pictures it had of each recipes. Even though I have not pursued a career in this field, I have great interests in food from various cultures and my extensive traveling had contributed to my passion for fine cuisines. I am currently residing in Singapore but my dream is to own an F&B outlet in KL - featuring highlight cuisines from around the world. Maybe in the next few years, I'd be able to save up enough capital, and perhaps seek your help in realizing my dream. I have always looked out for some support/consultancy from successful restaurateurs especially for those who are looking for some guidance and glad that I found you. My family will be celebrating our parent’s 30th anniversary in a couple of months; I might meet you then for the catering service. Extremely looking forward to it! My well wishes and regards, Melissa Dearest Patrick,

My company BSH, is the principle of the luxury kitchen appliances brand Gaggenau and I'm just curious if you or your chefs might be remotely interested in cooking at our Gaggenau showroom opening event in mid July? I'll be in KL on the 19th and 20th of June and would be delighted if we'd have a chance to chat. If keen, please drop me an email or buzz my Singapore mobile number. 91077211. I look forward to hearing from you. Warmest Singapore regards Denise Dear Patrick

For some reasons I connect and feel what you feel because my dad is also away in other countires, running his restautant and had a fair share of troubles and I am not even sure, they have overcome them completely yet but things are getting better. Congratulations on your success and best to you. Thank you for writing such a heartfelt, sincere blog.
